There will be a "preliminary exam", a "midterm" exam and a final exam. The preliminary exam and midterm will each come in two parts, an in-class portion in the xhour, followed by a take-home portion handed out in the xhour and due the next day. The exams are scheduled as follows:

The course grade will be based upon the scores on the midterm exam, homework, and the final exam as follows:
Preliminary Exam | 75 points |
Midterm Exam | 125 points |
Homework | 100 points |
Final Exam | 200 points |
