The exam covers material from
Chapter 2, Sections 1-3, 5 and 6;
Chapter 3, Sections 1-3 and 5-9;
Chapter 4, Sections 1-5, 7, 9, and 10;
Chapter 5, Sections 1-5;
Chapter 6, Sections 1-3, and
Chapter 7, Sections 1, 2*-4*, 5, and 7
with emphasize on
Chapters 5, 6, and 7.

The following problems are suggested for review for the Final Exam. Review problems for the chapters covered in the Midterm Exams are listed in the corresponding sections below. It is not the standard practice exam, so you do not have to be able to solve all these problems in three hours. The final exam will not contain more than 9-10 problems, so if you wish to test your knowledge take random 9-10 problems out of the ones suggested and try to solve them in three hours. Additionally, please review the regular homework problems. |
