Homework Assignments

IMPORTANT NOTE:

You may get no credit for your homework unless it is COMPLETELY LEGIBLE, on standard letter-sized paper, stapled (The week's regular homework should be stapled together in a single packet, and the special homework stapled separately.), and identified with your name, and you have restated each problem before solving it. (Saying what you are doing is an important part of clearly explaining.)

Homework assigned each day will be collected on Wednesday of the following week. In particular, homework assigned on Monday is not due until Wednesday of the following week. It is, however, a good idea to do each day's homework before the next class.

Reading assigned each day should be done by the next class. So, for example, Sections 1.1 and 1.2, listed on Monday, January 6, are assigned on Monday and should be read by Wednesday, January 8.
