The Honor Principle |
---|
Academic integrity is at the core of our mission as mathematicians and educators, and we take it very seriously. We also believe in working and learning together.
Collaboration on homework is permitted and encouraged. Just about any resource is allowed provided you reference it. But you must write up your solutions by yourself. By submitting your solution, you are attesting you understand what you have written, verify that it is correct and could repeat it on your own if asked.
You are NOT required to use LaTeX to write up your homework. Nevertheless, the ability to use LaTeX is a skill that you have to aquire at some point.
On exams, you may not give or receive help from anyone or anything (such as the internet) other than your text and class notes.
Special Considerations |
---|
Students with disabilities who will be taking this course and may need disability-related classroom accommodations are encouraged to make an appointment to see their instructor as soon as possible. Also, they should stop by the Academic Skills Center in Collis Center to register for support services.
