Exams:


There will be one in-class midterm exam and a final examination. The exams are scheduled as follows:

The Registrar's Office schedules the final exam, which will occur during the period June 4-8. If you must make travel plans before the schedule for final exams appears, do not make plans to leave Hanover before June 8. Exams will not be given early to accommodate travel plans.


Homework Policy:


Written homework will be assigned daily and will be due at the beginning of the next class meeting. Late papers will not be graded. Missing papers count zero. Moreover, neatness counts; if the grader can't read your paper, you get no credit. Homework problems will be graded on a 0 - 2 point scale: 2, mostly correct; 1, about half correct, 0; mostly incorrect or missing.

Grades:


The course grade will be based upon the scores on the midterm exam, homework grades, and the final exam.
