Homework Policy

Homework assignments will be posted in the homework section of the class website and will be due in on Wednesday's at the beginning of class. It is highly recommended that you begin each homework when it is set and that you work in groups. However it is requested that your final write up be done individually.

The written homework scores not only count towards a large portion of your final grade and allow you to practice and refine your skills but, historically, those students who do the homework sets regularly fair better on the exams.

Take-home assignment

There will be a take-home assignment in place of a second midterm. Details to follow.

Grades

The course grade will be based upon the scores on the take-home assignment, the midterm exam, the final exam, and the homework.
