Textbook: Vector Calculus, fourth ed., by J.E. Marsden and A.J. Tromba.

Two Midterm exams  100 points each 
Final exam   150 points
Two Homework Projects  50 points each 
Regular Homework   50 points


Tutorials: Tutorial sessions will be held on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 pm - 9 pm in Bradley 105.

Exams:

There will be two midterm examinations and a final examination. These exams are scheduled as follows:
 
Exam 1 Monday: January 28 6 pm - 8 pm   Bradley 101
Exam 2 Monday: February 18 6 pm - 8 pm    Bradley 101

The Registrar's Office schedules the final exam, which will occur during the period March 9-13. If you

must make travel plans before the schedule for final exams appears, do not make plans to leave Hanover

before March 13. Exams will not be given early to accommodate travel plans.


Homework:
 

There will be two homework projects.  Each homework project is 50 points. The policy of the honors code as applied to these homework projects will be announced when the projects are given out.

Regular homework will be assigned at the end of each lecture. It will be due by the beginning of the next lecture and it will be checked for completeness.
 
Late Homework Projects and regular homework exercises will not be accepted (except for emergency cases).

Unexcused late and missing papers count zero.

On Homework: Collaboration is permitted and encouraged, but NO COPYING .

On Projects:  Each project will have collaboration/honor principle information listed on the front of the project.  Students are responsible for reading and following the guidelines for each project.   Note that the guidelines may change from project to project.

Students with disabilities who will be taking this course and may need disability-related classroom accommodations are encouraged to make an appointment to see their instructor as soon as possible.
